Driven by her impressive work ethic, attention to detail and warm personality, Karen joined Blue Heron Capital in 2025 as a part-time administrative assistant. Her primary duties involve a variety of clerical tasks including data sorting and accumulation, report preparation, and filing. And she is always ready to assist the rest of the BHC team members with any tasks and projects that may be needed.

Karen is a proud mom of three sons, one of whom is Blue Heron Capital advisor Zach Roberts. During much of her life she focused her attention on raising her three boys while occasionally filling in as a preschool and substitute teacher for several schools.

Karen is a proud alumnus of The Masters University. 

Karen is also an incredible cook and baker! In her free time, you can find Karen trying new recipes, spending time with her family, and gardening!
