She is passionate about helping you plan for the unique needs of retirement including income for life, planning for and reducing income taxes, investment planning, estate planning, business succession, charitable giving and long-term care. She’s always looking out for what’s in your best interest.

She loves to share the knowledge through her radio shows and hundreds of presentations she’s given to individuals, businesses, church and civic groups, national organizations, CPA’s and estate planning attorneys. She’s known for her ability to help you easily understand even the most complicated issues.

Linda is a member of National Ethics Association, Women’s Estate Planning Council, MDRT, American Institute of CPAs, Colorado Society of CPAs and Ed Slott’s Master Elite IRA Advisor Group. She is an Independent Investment Advisor Representative with a Series 65 securities license and holds a Colorado Life and Health Insurance license.

She and her husband, Carl, enjoy spending time with their children and family. They also enjoy continuous learning, reading, travel, writing, and watching the wildlife that share their land.

From his earlier careers as a CPA, Chief Financial Officer for the University of Denver, successful small business owner in the printing industry and business coach, Carl has always focused on preparing for the future. He brings that same powerful focus to helping others prepare for their future.

Carl has presented numerous educational programs including long term care planning, estate planning, planning for business success and more. He has served as a guest speaker at the University of Denver. As a member of the University Hills Rotary Club for more than 30 years, Carl is a past president of that organization. He has a Colorado Life and Health Insurance license.

Carl brings his strong financial and management skills to our firm keeping everything running like clockwork. He also has a strong focus on marketing, and he merges that with his printing background to create the materials we share with others. Always learning, when you need something researched, Carl’s the man for the job!

Carl enjoys spending time with his wife, Linda, friends, children and family. He also loves to read, go to movies, travel and enjoys time at home with an occasional, well-earned nap.

Born and raised in Colorado, Zach has a passion for achieving goals and coming up with ways to help others achieve theirs – a valuable asset! As our communications specialist, Zach is responsible for writing our radio scripts, handling a lot of our marketing material, and finding new and innovative ways to better serve and reach our clients. Zach also evaluates tools and strategies to prepare personalized, comprehensive retirement planning solutions for our clients in his advisory role.

Zach brings unique experiences and skill sets to our team. From spending time in the construction industry, managing content for 14 social media accounts during college, to completing an internship with The Walt Disney Company, he brings a lot knowledge and insight to the table. Zach holds a Colorado Life and Health Insurance License, as well as the Series 65 Securities License. Zach is also a member of the National Ethics Association. 

Zach completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado Christian University. During his time at school, he was a 4-year collegiate soccer player and served as the president for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.  Zach enjoys staying active, listening to music, and watching movies – especially Star Wars! Zach also enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as traveling whenever he gets the opportunity.

Joel has always had a passion for two things – teaching and math. That led him to discover, while attending Colorado State University, that Financial Planning was his calling. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Planning and Investment Analysis. He holds a Colorado Life and Health Insurance License and the Series 65 Securities License. Joel is also a member of the National Ethics Association. 

While in college, Joel completed an internship at Northwestern Mutual where he learned planning techniques and client relationship skills.

When not focused on financial planning, Joel enjoys teaching trumpet lessons to high school students, playing Frisbee, and spending time with family and friends.

Tom Mustin is a familiar face to Denver television audiences, having spent nearly two decades as a multi-Emmy winning anchor and reporter. In all his work, Tom strives for compassion, fairness and empathy.

As a broadcast journalist in Denver, Tom has covered some of the biggest stories in the state, including his live coverage from the Democratic National Convention, which highlighted his team’s Emmy award winning entry for “Best Newscast.” Tom also serves as the co-host of Your Money Your Retirement® with Linda Gardner.

Tom is the son of a three star Navy Admiral, a native Virginian, and is proud of his family’s military heritage. In 2005, he covered the commissioning of the U.S.S. Mustin in San Diego- a destroyer named for Tom’s father and other relatives.

Tom enjoys giving back to the community. He has served as a spokesman / emcee for several important organizations including, Make-A-Wish, Reading Partners, The Adoption Exchange, and The Downtown Denver Partnership.

Tom and his wife Carolyn have three children and a Silky Terrier named Rocky. When he’s not home cheering on his Virginia Tech Hokies, Tom can be found running Colorado’s trails, climbing 14ers, or playing his guitar.
